Whenever I start to experience success, I then start to focus on it with all my energy. When I am building my business, I tend to ignore my health. And visa versa. Right now a new joint venture, www.SmartOfficeStrategies.com and the speaking part of my business are taking of like gangbusters. And I don’t want to ignore my health.

I made 2 major shifts

In December, I come up with my “I AM ECStatic” Model. And I had a major shift. I am getting better and faster results! The reasons it works are a) It makes you feel good and b) It sets comprehensive and holistic goals. Then in March, I had another shift. I learned how to handle my fears and excuses. I didn’t eliminate them but I can give myself permission and the conditions I need to move forward. Taking just the first step is ok.

How will you increase your successes on multiple fronts? What healthy choice will you make today? Let me know?

I can’t believe how much I have gotten accomplished in the last 6 weeks. I have started a new business venture. Renewed 2 contracts. Gone international. Went to a speaker’s conference and a workshop. Actively continued the real estate hunt. Oh and I gained 7 lbs. Isn’t that always the way.

What happened?

I’ve clarified and acted on my strengths. I want to have a speaking career and help women. I’ve finally put together the right team. It is easier to move forward with support. I finally understand how fear makes you lie to yourself and use excuses. Which brings me back to the weight thing. All the goals I want to accomplish will be easier the healthier I am. More importantly, I will not let my fear of weight sabotage the attention I want to attract for speaking.

Your biggest source of wealth is your health. What healthy choice will you make today? Let me know.

I’ve don’t believe I have ever accomplished as much in 10 weeks as I have this year. Why now and not before? I’ve worked hard before. I really think it has to do with getting rid of excuses and getting clarification on how I was doing it.

The clarification

The new mindset has to do with giving myself permission to do things and setting limits to stay safe. I have always wanted to invest in rental property but felt like I didn’t have the money. Then I decided that if some unseen men could lose part of my 401K, so could I. At least I would know where the money went.

What do you need to go for the gusto? What healthy choice will you make today? Let me know?

I did yesterday’s radio show on Wayne Dwyer’s Excuses Begone. As I went through the rest of the day, I started to catch myself using excuses. “I’m too busy” and “I’m too tired” were at the top of the list. You can hear all 18 excuses and what to do to get rid of them at www.blogtalkradio.com/imready4me, show 2/16. It will take less than 30 minutes.

Too busy?

Ask yourself these questions. Is it true? Where did it come from? What’s the payoff? What would my life look like if I couldn’t use this excuse? Can I create a rational (and rewarding) reason to change? How do I reinforce this new way of being? Interesting? Be sure you take the time to come up with insightful answers.

It works. What healthy choice will you make today? Let me know.

One of the things I did while snowed in was to watch that 3 hour program. It was Wayne Dwyer’s “Excuses Begone”. I watched it twice! (I did the other 2 things as well.) Don’t let excuses hold you back! When you have an excuse ask yourself “Are you sure is it 100% true?” If not, ask “Is the opposite a 100% true?” If neither is 100% true, why not pick the one that will get you closer to your goal. It’s simple and it makes sense.

5 Minutes Daily

Use what he calls the Law of Assumption. “What would my life look like if I couldn’t use these excuses?” Assume you have it. Spend 5 minutes before you go to sleep, not thinking of the bad stuff but of the life you assume you have. Thoughts like: I am healthy and buff. I have enough financial resources to do all I can imagine. I am in a truly loving relationship. You get the idea. Dwyer said “When you correct your mind, everything else will fall into place.

What do you assume you have in your life? What healthy choice will you make today? Let me know.
