I’m Ready 4 Me!

This program is based on my varied business experiences as the founder of  ADEPT Coaching and Consulting, as well as my personal experiences. My goal for the program is to empower you to lose weight and get healthy easily in a safe and fun place.

I have now lost over 150 pounds and changed my lifestyle so I now keep it off without struggling. More importantly, I have learned that only I can take responsibility for myself – my decisions, my wants, likes and dislikes. Before, I was caught in a cycle of conflicting information and discouraging failures. In addition, I was unable to make myself a priority. The sad truth was, not only was I not a priority, I also was not at my best for the people and things that I cared about.

I struggled with my weight since I was a teenager. I took diet pills, did diets, fasted, gained back more weight, gave up and started all over again. I had more information than I knew what to do with. But I couldn’t or wouldn’t put it into some plan of action that worked long-term.

This is not a quick or direct process. It is not easy to change habits that you may have had for 20, 30, 40 years or more. Luckily, I had great support to encourage me, help me evaluate my challenges, reset my goals and keep going. That’s why I designed the I’m Ready 4 Me Program to provide you with this support as you make changes.

Let me share some of the things I experienced along the way as I lost weight:

- I lost 60lbs and then was diagnosed with diabetes.

- I increased my exercise to fight the diabetes only to be diagnosed with arthritis.

Both times, I felt discouraged and betrayed. Losing weight was supposed to make me healthier but instead I felt I had 2 new medical conditions.  But as I looked at the all changes in I was experiencing in my life, not just the weight loss, I realized the results were so worth it!

ADEPT Coaching and Consulting

As I managed and then consulted, I found that employers had  common concerns. They wanted their employees to be available, dependable, trainable and with any luck, promotable.  Expanding on this, I realized that these concepts are needed in successful personal and business change including weight loss.  I used this model with my organizational and personal clients.
